Temporary Cone & Basket Strainers

Also known as temporary fabricated strainers, are used to filter out debris and sentiment from fluids. These pipeline strainers are a cheaper alternative for temporary straining needs. These strainers should not be used as permanent or long-term use. SECO offers temporary cone and basket strainers in a range of sizes, from 2” to 16” with ANSI ratings of 150#-900#. They are available in mesh and other materials.

Y Strainers help screen out pipeline weld metal, rust, jointing compound and other debris. Filtering out these unwelcome solids from the flow of liquid can help protect your equipment from their harmful effects. Y strainers can hold more debris and work in higher pressures.
